Spring has sprung!!!

Spring has sprung!!!

March 22, 2017 By admin

Hello its George the monkey here again. Its all go here at the minute, lots of little babies are arriving everyday. Only  a few hours ago two little kid goats where born, I know because I was looking out the window of my house and I could see it all, and I mean ALL, as in everything! And two pet lambs arrived yesterday just across from our house, they are being feed on bottles. They are always crying looking for milk, greedy little guys, I might need to get ear plugs if they don’t stop BAAAAing!

Oh I nearly forgot to mention that there are also the cuties little puppies on the farm at the minute, they where out running around in the paddock across of me and Gina the other day. I was having great fun with them, well I was trying to scare them a little bit by jumping on the wire. I think they enjoyed it though!

Well that’s all for now, hopefully this weather gets warmer and then you all will be coming to visit me.

Bye for now & see ye all soon!!!

Santa's Grotto[1]Hi all, George here again!

So I have just hear from the Emily the emu that Santa is going to be visiting us again this year, ooooh it’s soo exciting! I usually don’t get this exciting, I like to play it cool really, but it is SANTA after all!

It really is great news as the farm is currently being transformed into Ireland’s Lapland once again. So it appears that Santa will be arriving on Sat the 3rd Dec at 5pm by horse drawn sleigh and he will be here visiting until the 23rd Dec, Mon to Fri from 4pm to 7pm and Sat and Sun from 2pm to 7pm. I really can’t wait to see him, I have my letter wrote and all so I will give it to him when he gets here, I have even asked for a surprise for Gina this year….see I am in a good mood.

See you all here at Ireland’s Lapland soon!!!

Bye for now,
George! 🙂

Summer is here!

April 13, 2016 By admin

Hi George the Monkey here again! The sun has finally come out and all the animals are enjoy the nice weather. I saw the goat was lying out sun bathing yesterday while her two little kid goats were jumping on top of her. The little rascles!!!

We also have new little baby rabbits born and lots of little chickens. Its going to be a busy month here on the farm, we are expecting Beauty the Jersey cow to have a little calf in the next few weeks, fingers crossed!

Did you know for any of you kids that like to visit often, there is a season ticket that you can get! Its 20 euro per adult and 40 euro per child, and I think under 18 months are free. You can come visit me as many times as you want until the end of September. Imagine we will be best friends by the end of the summer. Well I better run, see ye all soon. Byeeee!kid goat

Spring is here! Easter Egg Hunts Easter Sat, Sun & Mon.

February 29, 2016 By admin

Hi it’s me again, George the Monkey! I haven’t been writing much in the last while but it’s getting exciting on the farm again. I just love Spring, the lambs are jumping, the chicks are hatching and I think we even have some babies bunny born just the other day!

All of the humans are running around tiding and painting so the farm must be reopening very soon. I’m told it’s St. Patrick’s Day and then the farm is open everyday until the end of September. It’s so much fun when the farm is open, I love to seen all the small visitors coming to the farm. They all make funny faces and I like to copy som

e of their funny expressions.

I have also heard from the goats, they live next door, that Easter is really early this year. That means that the annual Easter eggs hunts are starting on Saturday the 26th of March and are on Sunday and Monday as well at 3pm each day. It’s so exciting, everyone gathers at the nature walk gate and all the kids race all over the huge field searching for the Easter eggs! I wonder will you be fast enough to find the chocolate treasures. Well I better go now, Gina my wife is calling me, I think I see the llamas out for a walk. Bye for now!

October 13, 2015 By admin

Hi all, George here again, well it’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again, the leaves are falling, the evenings are getting dark and he kids will soon be turning into all sorts of ghosts and ghouls!

Myself and Gina love this time of year, we’ve had a little break and can’t wait to see all your kids and mammies and daddies coming to say hello again, but this time you can come as whatever you want….I wonder will I see any of my monkey family visiting me this year, any one dressing up as a George???

I have already loads of ghosts, ghouls, scarecrows and witches hanging around so you’ll be guaranteed a Spooktastic time!

I hear Willow the witch will be popping in again this year, there will also be marshmallow toasting, and an eerie maze……but be warned, enter at your own risk!  It’s gonna be a great, eerie, ghoulish Halloween @ Glendeer Pet Farm, so come along to see us all!

Spooktastic Halloween 2014

October 19, 2014 By admin

Hi everyone, George here again!!

It’s been a while since I have filled you in on all that’s happening here at Glendeer Pet Farm.

Well firstly the farm now has a new look, lots of new play stuff for the big kids and the little tots. The obstacle course, which I have a great view of from my house, looks like so much fun. All I can hear are squeals of excitement as the kids race through to the end to see who can win, it’s funny!

Then from the other side of my house I can hear the giggles from the toddlers as they play in the soft play area. I can just see in, oh what I wouldn’t do if I got in there!

But of course the big news this time of year is Willow the witch will be back on the 25th Oct until 2nd Nov.

So why not come along and cast spells with the scary witch, toast marshmallows over an open fire, enter the eerie maze but be warned, it’s as your own risk.  Enter the forbidden forest and be scared by lots more ghosts and ghouls at Glendeer Pet Farm this Halloween!

Come along to Glendeer’s Spooktastic Halloween event…if you dare!!!

See you all there!!!! Oh and Gina says hi!
