Hi All, George here again, it’s been very great fun here at Glendeer with all the school children visiting us while they are on their summer holidays. We love to see them coming it’s so exciting to watch them from our enclosure, we enjoy their funny antics, they laugh when the kid goats lick the food off their hand & tickle them & they scream & yelp when the greedy emus Emily & Edward grab the bag off food from them, it’s the funniest thing, we never get sick of seeing it!
The only bad thing about summer holidays is that they have to come to an end, so before you put on your new uniforms & go back to school to see all your friends & tell them about your exciting holidays, you should come back for another visit to see us, we’d love that, plus the cat is due kittens anyday now so you might get to see them. If you are coming however be careful to look up our direction page as Exit 13 is now closed from the Dublin side (for 2 weeks from today 18-8-11), so you will have to take Exit 12 instead, but don’t worry there are signs up anyway! Just tell your Mammys & Daddy to drive safely & we’ll see you again soon, hopefully!!! Bye for now everyone 😉
